The gorgeous, elegant ville de Reims is always a tempting place for a short stopover at the end of a trip.
Walking through the streets of elegant buildings, the cathedral's towers are always somewhere in view
and then you're face to face with its incredible facade.
I love the details of saints all around the great doors
Inside, the volume and scale are vast but the beauty comes from the lightness of design, all pale stone and multiple delicate lines.
At Chez Joseph with a view to the cathedral we had lunch, and a glass of champagne of course, to drink to the end of our expedition down to the heel of Italy.
